Morgan Bilancia

Morgan Bilancia is from Island Lake, IL and graduated from Wauconda High School. At WHS, Ms. Bilancia was a flute and piccolo player in the top band for all four years, and she also participated in pit orchestra, pep band, NLCC Honor Band, and served as a section leader and drum major for the Marching Bulldogs. After graduating from Wauconda High School, Ms. Bilancia attended Indiana University South Bend for a year before transferring to Elmhurst University to finish her Bachelor of Music in Music Education. During her time in undergrad, Ms. Bilancia was a member of the Women’s Tennis Team, The National Association for Music Education, The Illinois Collegiate Music Education Association, Phi Kappa Phi, and Lambda Sigma Psi. She also participated in several ensembles including flute choir, Philharmonic Orchestra, and Wind Ensemble where she served as Band Manager. While at Elmhurst, Ms. Bilancia also had the opportunity to study music abroad in Germany, the Czech Republic, and Austria. 

Upon graduation from Elmhurst University in 2023, Ms. Bilancia was hired as the Band Director at John T. Magee Middle School. She currently teaches general music and all four band classes. During her free time, Ms. Bilancia loves to travel, play flute in her church orchestra, and spend time with her friends and family (and her dog, Bodhi).
