Matthew Weber

Mr. Weber grew up in rural northern Missouri, surrounded by corn fields, cows, and all things rural. In high school, he joined band and developed a love for ensemble playing and singing. After high school, he attended Truman State University in Northeast Missouri, where he graduated in 2010 with a bachelor’s degree in Voice. After a few years of moving around Missouri working in banking, he returned to his true passion, Music Education. He taught K-12 Vocal and Instrumental Music in his old high school, Atlanta C-3 in Atlanta, Missouri (population 375) for four years while pursuing his master’s degree. He graduated in 2017 from Hannibal LaGrange University earning a Master’s Degree in Education: Teaching and Learning.

Mr Weber, his wife, Meghan, their three kids, Sophia, Grayson, and Teddy (and their corgi, Dot) live in Schaumburg. Mr. Weber also serves as the Director of Music for the First United Methodist Church of Elgin, IL and is also a certified Disney Travel Planner. The family enjoys traveling, and hopes to make it to all 7 continents by 2035.
