March 20-25, 2019
During the spring break of the 2018-2019 school year, the Round Lake High School Music Department will travel and perform at New Orleans! With every trip we take, our goal is to provide students an exciting performance opportunity, exposure to a college campus, and unique cultural and social experiences that broaden their global view.
New Orleans Eligibility & Requirements
Students can go on the New Orleans 2018-2019 Trip if they are:
-A 9th-12th grader during the 2018-2019 school year
-Enrolled in a curricular choir or band
There will be after school rehearsals held for both the band and choir that travels to New Orleans. You must attend these rehearsals to prepare for the New Orleans performance. Those rehearsals are yet to be scheduled. Conflicts with the rehearsals will be handled on a case-by-case basis.
Student Booster Account
If you want to know how much is in your student booster account from previous fundraising, please log into Charms. To use your student account for New Orleans, fill out a student account use form. This online form is automatically submitted to our booster once you complete. Please, check your student account prior to submitting the request to ensure that you have enough funds to cover your request. The Fine Arts Boosters are not responsible for any late or missed trip payments when it is due to insufficient funds in a student account.
All fundraiser information is distributed to the students in class. Additional packets of fundraisers are always available.
Here is a summary sheet of the 2017-2018 fundraisers. We will have a finalized list of 2018-2019 fundraisers sometime in the summer of 2018.
Currently, there are no chaperone positions open. All chaperone positions are filled by the music faculty first. If the numbers on the trip increase or a music faculty member is unable to chaperone, we will open applications for chaperones.

Final Parent Meeting
We will have a general informational meeting sometime in Spring 2018 to go over the trip itinerary and general questions.
We will have a student and parent meeting approximately a month before the trip to go over final details. That date will be released with the 2018-2019 music calendar.
