MR. DAVID MARSHALL
Music Teacher | Indian Hill Elementary School
dmarshall@rlas-116.org | 847-270-9970 Ext. 4731
Dave Marshall grew up a stones throw away in Johnsburg, IL. It was there that he was raised on a plentiful musical diet of Queen, Tom Waits, Blood Sweat & Tears, Boston, and a number of other influential musicians and musical groups. Upon graduation from Johnsburg High School he moved to Chicago to become a music teacher through the VanderCook College of Music undergraduate program. It wasn't too long into his degree before he was singing with the Chicago Choral Artists, touring with rock bands, and singing as a cantor and with church choirs throughout the city. Upon graduation from VanderCook, Mr. Marshall quickly found himself teaching in Chicago Public Schools but knew that his heart lie in the Chain O'Lakes area. He promptly moved into his current position at Indian Hill and can be found singing and whistling down the hallways at all times. When Mr. Marshall isn't at work he's hiking with his daughter, Willow and their furry pal, Zeppelin.
